Flight Training at the Pacific Aerospace Training Center

Let your aviation career take-off with the Honolulu Community College Pacific Aerospace Training Center!  You can earn a Commercial Aviation (AVIT) Associates in Science degree right here at HCC.  HCC's AVIT program is a four semester collegiate flying program.  Students earn their Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, and Multi-Engine Rating.  There is an optional semester for a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI).

The total estimated cost for the two year program is $35,000.  This cost may vary as it depends on each individual student's aptitude for flying.  The AVIT program is affiliated with the University of North Dakota (UND) Aerospace. The program was designed with an option upon completion to transfer to UND to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Aviation, Flight Education, Aviation Management, or Air Traffic Control (2 years + 2 years).  For more information on enrollment, please visit the Honolulu Community College website.  International Students may be interested in finding more information regarding foreign citizenship, the Transportation Safety Administration, and flight training here.
