Let your aviation career take-off
with the Honolulu Community College Pacific Aerospace Training Center! You
can earn a Commercial Aviation (AVIT) Associates in Science degree right here at
HCC†. HCC's AVIT program is a four semester collegiate flying
program. Students earn their Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating,
Commercial Pilot Certificate, and Multi-Engine Rating. There is an
optional semester for a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI).
The total estimated
cost for the two year program is $35,000. This cost may vary as it depends
on each individual student's aptitude for flying. The AVIT program is affiliated with
the University of North Dakota
(UND) Aerospace. The program was designed with an option upon completion to transfer
to UND to
pursue a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Aviation, Flight Education, Aviation
Management, or Air Traffic Control (2 years + 2 years). For more information on

Students enrolling into the AVIT
program must have a current FAA
Medical Certificate prior to registering for AVIT classes at the Honolulu
