A & P Training at the Pacific Aerospace Training Center

Let your aviation career take-off with the Honolulu Community College Pacific Aerospace Training Center!  You can earn an Aeronautical Maintenance (AERO) Associates in Science degree right here at HCC.  HCC's AERO program is a five semester collegiate program that will earn you your FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A & P) Certificate.  The total estimated cost for the two and a half year program is $4,500.  There are options to transfer to other four-year Universities to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics.

The AERO program at HCC utilizes a variety of training aircraft. Here are just some:

  • McDonnell Douglas DC-9-50

  • Cessna aircraft (150, 172, 310, 337)

  • Ex-military aircraft

  • A variety of helicopters (Huey, Experimental)

  • A variety of turbine and turboprop engines

Aeronautical Maintenance Training is conducted at the HCC Pacific Aersospace Training Center facilities at the Honolulu International Airport
